LAKE LEVEL: The "Normal" lake level is 660' above sea level. Winters the Corps of Engineers targets a level 3' below that or 657'. In recent years the lake level has ranged from a high of  664' to a low of  655'. To obtain the current power generation schedule and the lake level by phone call 888-893-0678 then press 1 then press 1 again.

WEATHER: The Lake Hartwell area climate is best described as "moderate". Summers are warm with temperatures occasionally reaching over 90. Winters are mild although several nights will go below freezing.
