| Lake
Hartwell is only 100 miles from Atlanta, Ga (The distribution center of the South) and
just a few hours from Savannah, Ga (First stop for imports from around the world). North
Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia are home to hundreds of manufacturers of furniture
and home furnishings. Cotton is no longer king but the area still leads in the manufacture
of textiles, clothing, and other sewn products. The Southern Appalachians have long been
considered THE place for crafts and antiques. Put it all together and its easy to see why the Lake Hartwell area is a shoppers paradise. Below we have listed some of Aunt Joan's favorites. NOTE: Days and hours of operation are subject to change without notice. It pays to call first. |
