Twelve Mile Recreation Area
on Lake Hartwell

Season: Open year round.

Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching.

Directions: Twelve Mile is located in Pickens County, South Carolina near the City of Clemson. From Hwy 123, turn onto Hwy 132, travel 1 mile, Twelve Mile will be on the left (look for brown directional signs).

Amenities: Launching ramp, comfort station, drinking water, picnic area, 2 picnic shelters (reservable!), 2 playgrounds, designate swim beach, facilities for handicapped, courtesy dock, ramp security light.

Fees: $4 per vehicle regardless of activity from March 1 - October 31; $3 boat launching fee from November 1 - February 29; picnic shelters can be reserved in advance for $40 (each).
